Everyone loves having a way to express themselves, and now you can by uploading an avatar to your profile information. You can do this by navigating to the Settings view by clicking the three-line menu button on the nav bar on the left side of the screen as seen in Figure 1.

Your profile view should be the first thing you see. At the top of your profile information, you will see a section dedicated to managing your avatar, as seen in Figure 2.

Uploading a new avatar

To upload a new avatar, hover over your current avatar (or letter if no avatar available), and click the camera icon as shown in Figure 3. Upon clicking the camera icon, you will see by a file selection box; select the file that you would like to upload to be your new avatar.

It is important to note that Pattyrn only supports .PNG, .JPEG, and .GIF up to 3.5MB in size.

Once you have selected the file you would like to use; you will see the file name presented next to a preview of the photo as shown in Figure 4. At this point, the upload button should be green and will allow you to upload your picture (if your photo meets the requirements listed above). Click the upload button, and if the request is successful, you will officially have a new avatar!

Updating an avatar

To update your avatar, just follow the same steps as adding a new avatar. Simple!

Removing an avatar

To remove your avatar, click the "remove photo" button that is shown in Figure 3. Once the request is successful, your avatar should be replaced by the first letter of your name.
